Bert was born May 28, 1921, in Priest River, ID. She moved to Spokane in 1948, and in 1952, married
Forrest Rice who had three children: Jackie (passed in 1990), Jimmy, and Laramie (Carley).
Bert worked doing bookkeeping for Dr. Randolph’s office and the Northeast Community Center/ Hillyard Senior Center and retired in 2000. Her last years were spent with Lesli Thomas who took care of her until she passed.
Bert is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Preceded in death by her husband, Forrest; parents, Albert and Agnes Lemley; brothers, Art, Bud, and Elmer Lemley.
Visitation will be held from 4:00pm – 6:00pm on Thursday July 18, 2013, at Hazen and Jaeger Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at Greenwood Memorial Terrace on Friday, July 19, 2013, at 11:00AM.
