Our precious angel, Amelia Renee Carollo, age 5, went to spend the rest of her time with her Lord and Savior. Amelia was killed in a tragic car accident on Friday, November 22 in north Idaho as her mother, brother and family friend were headed to a hockey tournament in Fernie, Canada. They were hit head-on by a wrong way driver.
Amelia was born on a cloudy day on February 22, 2019, in Spokane to Nick and Amanda Carollo. From the moment she was born, she lit up the room and continued to spread light everywhere she went. Amelia loved sparkly things, jewelry and Barbies. She also loved her ballet classes and dancing for her family. She was her brother Patrick's biggest cheerleader at hockey events or any time he needed a little extra help. She often asked her mother what heaven was like.
She loved being with her cousins Brayden, Brianna, Ophelia, Delphi, Lenorah, and Atticus and could be found holding their hands showing them where to go. She loved spending time at Deer Lake and at Grandpa Ted’s place on the river.
Amelia loved going to church worshiping and dancing to the worship music. She was often seen dragging her brother Patrick to the front of the church at Calvary Kids Church in Deer Park.
She is survived by her parents Nick and Amanda Carollo; grandparents Anthony and Debbie Carollo and Tom and Renee Siers, her beloved brothers, who meant the world to her, Patrick and Henry Carollo, aunts and uncles Katie Swenson (Paul), Phillip Siers (Cerene), Tessa, Natalie, Ashley and Michael Siers, Joe Carollo (Myranda), Rory Mickelson (Curtis), Emily Carollo and her great-grandparents, Judith Mayes, Ted Fennen, and Jim Carollo and Joyce Cameron Carollo.
Until we meet again sweet girl, rest in Jesus’ arms and keep making people laugh in heaven.
Services for Amelia will be this Saturday, December 7 at 1:00 pm at the Calvary Chapel, 511 S. Main St., Deer Park, Wa.
