

Passed away February 23, 2017 in Spokane, WA. He was born in Torrance, CA on October 15, 1934 t Felipa and Primitivo Madrigal. Tony grew up in Torrance with his four sisters and four brothers. He served four years in the Air Force and retired with 40 years of service from the US Postal Service. Tony married his sweetheart, Belia. They enjoyed 53 years together. The lived in Carson, CA, where they adopted their two daughters, Bertha and Maria, from whom they were given seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
In 1980, when the girls were grown, Tony and Belia moved to Spokane with Belia’s mother. Tony was a devoted Catholic and was involved with his church. He also volunteered with the Knights of Columbus and Day Out for the Blind of Spokane.
A Rosary will be held on Thursday, March 2, 2017, 6:00 PM at Hazen & Jaeger Funeral Home, 1306 N Monroe, Spokane, WA. A memorial mass will be celebrated on Friday, March 3, 2017, 11:00 AM at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 5021 N Nelson, Spokane, WA, followed by inurnment and military honors at Holy Cross Cemetery.
