June 1st, 1928 - Dec. 4th, 2017
Beverly was born in Spokane on June 1st, 1928 to Herman and Ester Woellner. She was the youngest of three children. Her brother Ed and sister Maxine preceded her in death. Beverly attended North Central High School where she was involved in many activities. She loved her classmates and they remained friends throughout her lifetime. She also met her lifelong husband Bill Graham at North Central. Bill and Bev married in 1951 while Bill was still in the military stationed in Fairbanks. They had their first son William Patrick in Fairbanks. After serving, they returned to Spokane to work and raise their family. Their daughter Kay was born in 1954. Six years later another son Michael was born. Beverly was a stay at home mom but she was never without something to do. She loved taking care of her husband, children and parents. In her spare time she and Bill purchased several fixer uppers, repairing and turning them into rentals. She enjoyed spending time at Sacheen Lake where she and Bill built a cabin by hand without any power tools. In 1967 they purchased property on Long Lake and a few years later built a home where they lived until 1993. Just prior to Bill’s retirement they built their final home on Sundance Golf Course where they lived until she passed. Bill was able to golf and Beverly was closer to shopping and sales. As usual, Beverly developed many great friendships with her neighbors. She loved to shop and was considered an expert by those who knew her. She also loved to travel with her friends. She loved the simple things in life including a soda every day, good ice cream, and as much candy as possible. She took care of everyone including the squirrels and quail that frequented her yard. She never had a bad day and was always positive until her last day. She did not know jealousy. She loved her children and all of their friends became her friends. She loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Most of all she loved her husband. Bill passed shortly after her and they are together again.
She will be missed by all who knew her. She leaves behind her children, William P Graham, Kay (and Jerry) Solecki, Michael (and Kelly) Graham, and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. The family would like to thank all of the medical professionals that took care of her.
