Age 84
Burton was born in Spokane, WA on January 30, 1931 to David A. and Redah (Fosgate) Clark. He passed away on May 21, 2015. After High School, Burton joined the U.S. Navy. He married the love of his life, Myrtle Evans, and they celebrated 64 years together. They welcomed their son, Rick Cook, and their daughter, Sherre Cook. He worked as a maintenance man for an Aluminum Plant.
He is survived by his wife, Myrtle, his son Rick, his daughter Sherre; and five grandchildren, Alicia Cook, David Downing (Charity), Eric Downing, Keith Cook (Rachel) and Somer Acton (Joe); and six great grandchildren, Ashley Cook-Cox, Jocelyn Cook-Cox, Morgan Acton, Brody Cook, Skyley Downing, and Owen Downing.
Per Burton’s wishes, there will not be a memorial service. He will be inurned at Fairmount Memorial Park at a later date.
