Craig Jay Luse

Craig Jay Luse, loving husband, father, and grandfather passed away on April 18th, 2026, in Spokane, WA. Craig was born in Glasgow, MT on July 12th, 1952, to Walter Luse and Eva (Foust) Luse. He graduated from Glasgow High School in 1971. He worked for the Glasgow City Police Dept until 1980 when he started working for Montana Power, later becoming Northwestern Energy, as a meter reader. He was transferred to Great Falls in 1993 and then transferred to Cut Bank in 1994 to work in the gas plant field. After 37 years with the company, Craig retired in 2017.

On February 21st, 1976, Craig married the love of his life and best friend Micky Robbins in Glasgow, MT. The greatest things in Craig’s life were his three children, Jason, Kristin, Amber, and his four grandchildren, Jaycee, Myles, Brayden, and Jozie. Craig had been an active member of the Cut Bank Moose Lodge, earning his Fellowship Degree of Honor and the Governor’s Award of Excellence in 2012. Craig loved the Lord and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved camping, reading, strong coffee, and playing cribbage and various card games.

Craig was preceded in death by his parents Walter Luse and Eva (Foust) Luse, brother Gary Luse, sister Myrna (Luse) Russell, brother Michael Luse and son David Luse. He is survived by Micky, his wife of 50 years, his son Jason (Lauren) Luse of Cut Bank, daughter Kristin (Patrick) Salem of Shelby, daughter Amber Luse of Great Falls and his four grandchildren; his brothers Ray (El Claire) Luse of Spokane, WA and Blake (Jo) Luse of Great Falls, MT, brother-in-law Max Russell of Minneapolis, MN and many beloved nieces and nephews.

A memorial service celebrating Craig’s life will be held at 2:00 pm, Thursday, May 14, 2026, at Cut Bank Baptist Church,106 6th Ave SE. A reception will follow immediately after the service. We invite all who knew and loved Craig to join us in honoring his memory.
