

Dan was born September 4, 1937, in Wallace, Idaho, to Jean and Ray Dunsmore. One of seven children, Dan worked primarily as a land surveyor, plus held many other jobs. He was a long time resident of the Spokane Valley.
Affectionately known as Dampa to his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Dan loved spending time at the St. Joe River in Idaho where he and Joanne hosted family and friends for many years. Dan will be remembered for his kindness, hard working nature, and sense of humor.
At his request, no service will be held, at this time. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Dan is survived by his wife of 33 years, Joanne; four sons and six step-children. Gary Dunsmore (Denise), Bruce Dunsmore (Meka), Jeff Dunsmore, Casey Dunsmore (Denise), Frank Burger III (Dee Dee), Kelley Burger, Mike Burger (Linda), Rick Burger, Michelle Brüx (Marisol) and Milika Worthy-Hunter; Grandkids: James, Ashley, Collin, Gavin, Darius, Josh, Jake, Kristie, Brad, Rylee, Nick, Kelsi, KeAve, KeAndre, Nicole, Zach, Nichole, Dustin, Coty, Shelby, Mekayla, Xena; 16 Great Grandchildren
Family asks that in lieu of flowers any donations in Dan's name be made to SCRAPS at 6815 E Trent Ave., Spokane Valley, WA 99212.
