Debbie was born on May 2nd, 1952 in Garden Grove, CA, to Albert & Patricia
Plumb. Moving to Spokane her Junior year of high school she graduated from
Shadle Park High School in 1970. She then went on to gain her degree in
Medical Terminology from Kinman Business University. With this degree she
dedicated her career to Premera Blue Cross where she was a loyal Claims
Processor for 35 years & retired with high regards and esteem from her many
friends & coworkers at Premera.
Debbie married Larry Ripley in 1975 in Spokane and had 2 children together.
Her children then blessed her with 6 wonderful grandchildren whom she treasured.
Her family will remember their Momma, Wife, Grandma as a caring, loyal,
strict & self sacrificing woman.
Being a lover & devoted believer in Christ was very important to Debbie. While
she may not have lived out her faith in ways others would, she truly believed
above all else that Jesus Christ is the Son of God & the Christ sacrifice for all.
Debbie was an avid baseball fan. Larry & her enjoyed every moment they had
together in their trusted season ticket seats at every home Spokane Indians
game. She always had such a caring & giving heart. You could always count on
her to be one of the first with a gift for momma & babies to be. She loved
blessing others.
Debbie is survived by her devoted & loving husband, Larry, of 45 years, her son
Chad, with grandchildren Chase & Abygayle, her daughter Samantha, with
grandchildren Josiah, Zechariah, Neriah & Zion, adopted grand daughter Aleacia
& adopted great grand children Rosalie & Benjamin. Also, her sister, Cheryl
Thompson & numerous cousins, nephews & nieces. Debbie is preceded in
death by her father & mother, Albert & Patricia Plumb and her brother-in-law Jim Thompson.
