August 20, 1957, to parents Dorothy and Philip Anderson. Don grew up in Spokane and after graduating from Lewis &
Clark High School, he attended Spokane Falls Community College and Western Washington University before moving to Portland, Oregon to start his Graphic Arts Career.
It was there that Don met his life partner, Michael Trogdon. They spent more than 40 years traveling and enjoying family and friends.
Don and Mike later made their home in Spokane to be near family and friends where they were active in the Long-Time Survivors of AIDS group. In addition to traveling, Don liked to garden and watch classic movies. He especially valued his friendships with Sheila,
Marty, Neti, Lisa and Dr. Debbie.
Don is survived by Michael and their dog, Petey, the loves of his life; his sisters Dorothy Gustin, Randi Lemieux, Betty Montoya and many beloved nieces and nephews.
