He was born to Alfred and Josephine Bristlin on July 7th, 1954 in Grand Rapids, Minnesota. The family moved to Spokane when he was 8. He did a short stint in the army during Viet Nam. The last 20 years he worked at Lowes, where he made, and left, many friends.
He is preceded in death by both parents, as well as his oldest sister, Trish. He is survived by his wife of over 17 years, Pam and his stepdaughter Kaycee. He is also survived by his siblings: Cindy, Sherry, Annette and Mark.
We have lost a husband, stepdad, brother and friend. However, he has now gained the very best seats in the house to every Vikings, Bulldogs, Seahawks and Dodgers games. He gets unlimited viewing to the Northern Lights and now knows where ALL the best fishing spots are.
Per Doug's wishes, there will be no services. You may leave your memories, thoughts and any pictures on his page at the address listed below. We would like to give a huge thanks to both Summit Oncology and Horizon Hospice. Their staff was very helpful throughout everything.
Doug, you and your infamous 'stache will be missed forever. Gone from our sight, forever in our hearts. Now, go cast your line, crack a Keystone, light a cigar and relax. You've earned this. Love you!
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.AdvantageSouthHill.com for the Bristlin family.
