Harry W Boures

Born February 9, 1920 in Elk River, Idaho to Nicholas and Mabel Boures passed away December 13, 2011 in Spokane, WA. He is survived by his wife of 53 years Ann Boures; Son, Kipp (Irene) Boures of Newport, WA; Daughter, Debbie (Craig Ralston) Boures of Eugene, OR; Five Grandchildren: Devin and Marisa Ralston; Chelsea, Dylan and Elliot Boures; Brothers; Bill Boures; Ron (Sue) Boures; Sisters: Betty (Syl) Caria; Dorothy (Bill) Ramey; Preceded in death by his sister Frances Lyman. Harry was a long time resident of Spokane. He enjoyed spending time with his siblings, children and grandchildren. Harry was a highly decorated veteran, serving in WWII in the US Army Infantry. Harry earned the Silver Star, Bronze Star and the Purple Heart. He also received a special commendation award from the British government. He retired as a foreman from the Spokane Transit Authority after 29 Years. Visitation will be held Thursday December 15, 2011, from 2-8:00 PM. Funeral Service will be Friday December 16, 2011 at Ball & Dodd Chapel at 12:30pm. Interment Fairmount Memorial Park.
