Katherine passed away on February 16, 2015. She was born in Dixon, Illinois on May 27, 1917 to Ralph and Dorothea Ruppert. She was a resident of Washington State since 1937 and a resident of Spokane since 1974.
Katherine was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church, Washington State Grange, and National Grange since 1938.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Floyd A. Dixon, a brother, Fred Ruppert, a sister, Francis Reed, and grandchildren Laurenne and Dean Bishop.
She is survived by her daughter June L. Deuel (Bob) of Mayer, AZ, and son Jim Dixon (Bonnie) of Spokane. Katherine is also survived by a sister Laura Koenig of Hilo, HI, four grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and one great-great grandson.
