Lorene Edith Wesselman

Lorene E. Wesselman (Age 85) Was called to home with her Lord on January 4, 2016, surrounded by her beloved husband, children and grandchildren. Lorene was born to the late Amil and Marguerite Munk on January 20, 1930. She was born and raised in Spokane, WA, where she graduated from Marycliff High School. Later Lorene moved to Lacrosse, WA where she met and married her best friend, Frederick J. Wesselman. Fred and Lorene were married on November 29, 1952 and spent a beautiful 63 years together. Lorene was blessed with a large and loving family. Together Fred and Lorene lovingly raised their four children in Sprague, WA. In 1993 Fred and Lorene moved to Spokane, WA to be closer to their family. Lorene is survived by her husband Fred; her daughter Diana Gfeller; her sons Doug, Dennis, and David (Tabitha) Wesselman; her six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and brother Bob Munk. A Catholic Service will be held at 10:00am on January 9th, 2016, at St. Joseph Parish, 3720 E. Colbert Rd., Colbert, WA 99005. The burial will be on Saturday, January 9th at 3:00pm, located at Holy Cross Cemetery, 7200 N. Wall St., Spokane, WA 99208.
