Margaret Anne Long

Long, Margaret Anne born April 20, 1953 in Spokane, Washington. Passed away April 6, 2015 at Hospice House (North) in Spokane. Grew up in Wilbur, WA. Graduated from Wilbur High School then attended Eastern Washington State College for several years. She was a stay-at-home mom until her 2 boys were through Middle School. She volunteered at Linwood Elementary and Salk Middle School as her boys were attending. She started working for Spokane Public Schools in 2000 as an instructional assistant taking care of disabled students. She is survived by husband Wayne, son Brian and brother John Paulsen (Everett, WA). Also is survived by her cousins Paul and Pat Bodeau (Wilbur, WA) and Judy Feltch (Seattle, WA). Preceded in death by son Alan Long (passed away 11/27/2007). The family suggests any memorials be sent to American Cancer Society or Hospice of Spokane. The family is very grateful to Hospice of Spokane for making her final days peaceful. A Memorial Service will take place at Hazen & Jaeger Funeral Home, 1306 N. Monroe, on April 18, 2015 at 2pm.
