Mary L Bailey

Bailey, Mary Lois (Uber) (Age 96) born to Herman E. and Mary J. Uber in Grove City, PA on January 19, 1915. On August 28, 2011, Mary went to the arms of Jesus where she is now rejoicing with her Saviour. Mary was a true prayer warrior and a long time member of Whitworth Community Presbyterian Church, where she and her husband Larry (pastor of visitation) ministered to so many. Larry and Mary were married August 30, 1940, in Jefferson County, PA. Larry died in January 2005. They have one son Ted, Chewelah; a grandson Zach, Kettle Falls, their wives; and three great-grandchildren. Her sister Betty resides in Girard, PA. Mary is preceded in death by an older brother, Ralph and older sister, Margaret. Mary worked as a telephone operator and taught school before she became a full time homemaker. Mary was such a warm and caring person and she brought out the best in us thru her wise counsel and beautiful prayers. Her family would like to thank Dr. Anderson and her loving and caring staff. Especially remembered with love are, Kim, Pam and all the beautiful folks at Kim’s Cottage, Spokane, where Mary spent her last years in a safe and loving home. Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, September 9, 2011 at Whitworth Community Presbyterian Church, 312 W. Hawthorne Rd., Spokane, WA.
