Mary Frances Beckman

(age 82)

Passed away peacefully on April 11, 2016. She was born in Iron River, MI, April 7, 1934 to Antone J. and Kathryn N. Cybulski. She received a bachelor’s degree in education from Northern Michigan University and a master’s degree in psychology and counseling from Eastern Washington University.

Mary Frances was teaching first grade in Mt. Clemens, MI when she met Edward Beckman. They were married August 2, 1958. After living in Dearborn, MI for a few years, they moved to Spokane.

She is preceded in death by her parents; brother Antone Cybulski; and sister Kay Peters. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Ned; sons Rich (Julie), Tom (Carrie), and Steve; and four wonderful grandchildren.

Mary Frances enjoyed her piano, her years as a deacon at First Presbyterian Church, teaching yoga throughout the Spokane area and her 34 years as a friend of Bill W.

A memorial service will be held at First Presbyterian Church, 318 S Cedar St, Spokane, WA, Saturday, April 30, 2016, 1:00 PM.
