

Passed away on July 5, 2013 at 10:30am in the comfort of his home among family. He was born August 17, 1941 in Steamboat Springs, CO.
Mason was preceded in death by his parents, his wife (and sunshine) Elli and step-daughter.
He served in the Navy during the Vietnam War. After leaving the Navy, he became a builder working in carpentry, drywall, cabinet making and masonry. A true labor of love, Mason built the house where he and Elli lived and died.
Mason is survived by three brothers, two half- sisters, and five step siblings. Two biological children and six step-children, a multitude of grand and great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. All who loved him dearly.
Mason was a loving, caring and patient man. A true dad to all his children. While at times ornery, he will be remembered for being easy going, fun-loving, giving, trustworthy, and honorable. He will be missed by all who knew him.
