Pete peacefully joined his heavenly father Wednesday, Nov 2nd. He is survived by his loving wife Cecilia of 52 years; his sons, Albert, Sammy, Pete IV, and Christopher; his grandchildren, Samuel, Maria, Saundra, Christina, and Kyrstien; his great grandchildren, Christian, Sean, Michael, Sara, Matthew, and Vincent. Pete is preceded in death by great grandson Gabriel, his father Pete Obeso Sr. and mother Josephine Obeso.

Pete was a loving husband and father. He was a quiet man who had a deep love, a great sense of humor and a fantastic laugh. Pete joined the Marine Corps in 1958 and was Honorably Discharged; he then went on to be a Restaurateur as Owner and Proprietor with his wife Cecilia, of Pedro’s Mexican Food in Spokane Valley In 1993 Pete retired to the quiet life. He spent his time golfing on the links, bowling and MANY family BBQ’s. He will be missed. Please come and celebrate his life with us on Tuesday, November 15, 2011 at 2:15pm at the Washington State Veterans Cemetery in Medical Lake. A reception will follow at the family’s home in Spokane Valley.
