Robert left us suddenly on March 23, 2010, to be in the arms of the Lord. He was born on July 25, 1922, in Spokane, Washington, to John & Loretta Mulvey, who preceded him in death. He attended Gonzaga High School and enlisted in the Navy to serve in World War II. His great loves were his service to the country, political news, and his family. He worked for many years as a stereotyper for the Spokesman-Review. He is survived by five children, Terri Jacobs of Fort Worth, TX, Sharon Shanks of Latah, WA, Ron "RJ" Mulvey of Spokane, Bob Mulvey of Spokane, John Mulvey of Spokane; 12 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; sister, Mary Absalonson of Spokane; brother, Joe Mulvey of Lompoc, CA; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be on Monday, April 5 from 1 to 8 PM. Funeral Services will be at 3 PM on Tuesday, April 6, 2010 in the Alwin Chapel at Hazen & Jaeger Funeral Home, 1306 N. Monroe St.
