Avis de décès de Ronald Francis Fink
AUX SOINS DE

Ball & Dodd Funeral Home

Ron grew up on a farm in Forsyth, Montana where he graduated from Forsyth High in 1950. He loved horses and even had his own horse, Paint.

He started college at Montana State University but knew the draft was coming soon and decided to join the Air Force right away. His first base was in Texas at Lackland Air Force Base. Eventually he was assigned to Rabat, Morocco where he became skilled in the field of electronics. He traveled quite extensively in southern Europe and North Africa. When he returned to the USA, he spent some time at air force bases in St Louis and New Jersey.

In New Jersey he met the love of his life, Phyllis Ciliberto. They married on September 10, 1955. Ron was able to use the electronic skills he had gained in the service to good advantage and had a great job working for a local contractor. Eventually, Ron decided that he should return to college and complete his degree. He, Phyllis and their two boys moved across the country to Bozeman, Montana. Another child, a daughter, was born while Ron was in school. When he graduated, he obtained a position with Spokane Public Schools at Ferris High where he very successfully taught electronics. After many years at Ferris, Ron moved to Joseph Jantsch Continuation School where he taught math, history and whatever was needed. He developed a great compassion and love for students who were struggling. He also taught Driver’s Education to many, many students around the city. He was a member of Northwood Presbyterian Church.

Since his retirement, Ron has enjoyed a wonderful relationship with his family spending many hours watching the athletic events, concerts, and recitals of his children and grandchildren. He also enjoyed his snowbird time in Arizona.

Ron’s Dad, Mom, Brother and Wife preceded him in death. He is survived by his sister, Sandy and son, Richard (Sue), son, Michael (Bernadette), and daughter, Lori Collins (Todd) and his grandchildren Alexis, Aaron, Jessica, Sara, Eric, Theresa, Elizabeth, DJ, and Grant, and great grandchildren, Ellie, Emma, Evalynn, Miles, Claire, Jay, Carter, Addison, Landyn and, great great grandchild Silas.

A private family memorial service will be held at Fairmount Memorial Park.
