

Passed away peacefully March 22, 2017 in Spokane, WA. She was born June 18, 1936 to Daniel and Joan Mangan in Spokane, WA. Rosemary attended St. Ann’s grade school and Marycliff High School. She worked at J.J. Newbery’s Co. and Perry Brothers Frozen Food Wholesales. She was a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles #2 for 45 years. She and husband Lyle traveled for 17 winters to Yuma, AZ, where Sundance RV Park was home. Rosemary even served as the park’s activity director for five years.
Rosemary was the last of the Mangan clan. She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers; two sisters; and a son. She is survived by her husband, Lyle Miller; daughters Linda (Dee) Waggy, and Cheryl (Mike) Maiola; step-daughters Candy Miller, Cindy Miller, and Tammy (Rick) Bowen; grandsons Dwayne, Loren and Daniel Waggy; granddaughter Shannon Whitney; three step-grandsons; 11 great grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be available Saturday, March 25, 2017, 11 AM to 2 PM, followed at 2 PM by a Rosary service, at Hazen & Jaeger Funeral Home, 1306 N Monroe, Spokane, WA. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday, March 30, 2017, 11 AM at St. Thomas More Church, 515 W St. Thomas More Way, Spokane, WA, followed by burial at Fairmount Memorial Park.
Rosemary could not praise her children enough for all their help and as a tribute to her daughters and grandchildren she wrote:
If I could give you one thing in life, I would give you the ability to see yourself through my eyes. Only then would you realize how very special each and every one of you are to me.
