Ruby E. Halvorson

She was born October 31, 1914 in Hawley, MN. Ruby graduated from Hawley High School in 1934. She married the late Thomas Orlando Halvorson in 1941. They lived in Moorhead, MN until relocating to Spokane in 1964.

Ruby was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Spokane. She loved to garden, cook and spend time with her family most of all.

Ruby is survived by two sons: Leslie (Carla) Halvorson of Molalla, OR and Randy (Christine) Halvorson of Spokane, WA. She is also survived by two Grandchildren Kris (TJ) Brill, Thomas (Cyndi) Halvorson and one great grandson Teigen Brill, all of Spokane. Living outside Spokane she is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, grand neices and grand nephews.

Ruby was preceded in death by her parents and siblings Maye Bakken, Alice Kjos, Clifford Kjos, Ardith Kronbeck, Waldo Kjos and Danny Kjos.

We had almost 100 years with our beloved Ruby and we wish we had more.

A viewing will be held at Wright Funeral Home in Hawley MN on July 9th from 3-5 PM. A service will be held at the Wright Funeral Home on July 19th at 11 AM, with interment at the Hawley Cemetery.
