Sandra Lea Perkins

Sandra Lea Perkins, age 79, of Spokane, WA passed away on January 29th, 2022. Sandra was born on September 23rd, 1942 to Harold R. Miller and Goldie Edwards. She graduated from high school in Redmond, OR and went on to attend beauty school in Eugene, OR, working as a beautician for several years.

She married William R. Perkins on September 2nd, 1961 and the couple had two children together; Dale and Renee. The family lived in Ohio, Florida, California and eventually settled in Spokane, WA, in the 1970’s when William retired from the air force. A few years later, Sandra found a job at the LA Clark Company in downtown Spokane as a retail clerk, working with watch parts and jewelry. She enjoyed working there and stayed with the company until the office closed.

Sandra and William loved to travel all over the world to Australia, Fiji, various parts of Europe, and their favorite destination being New Zealand. The couple loved talking about their worldly travels.

Sandra is survived by her husband, William R. Perkins, of Spokane, WA; her son, Dale R. Perkins, of Edmonds, WA; her daughter Renee M. Wilson (Steven) of West Seattle, WA, and grandchildren Ryan Wilson, Allison Wilson and Hayley Nenow.

A private service will be held at the WA State Veterans Cemetery at a later date.
