Shirley Blair was born February 27, 1936 in Fairfield, Washington to Alva and Clara Clark. She grew up in Fairfield with her brother and five sisters. Shirley moved to Spokane and became a cook at the Pine Shed Restaurant. She worked at the Pine Shed until she retired. She enjoyed playing golf at Sundance Golf Course and the Ladies League. Shirley loved traveling to Mazatlan, Mexico. She spent many winters on the beach enjoying the incredible weather; a little piece of paradise.
Shirley lived the last year of her life at Emilie Court Assisted Living in Spokane, Washington. She was taken care of by an amazing staff and met many new acquaintances.
Shirley is survived by her two children Bob Haney (Mary Lou) and Kathy Sherrick (John); grandchildren Lindsey Alice, C.J. Haney, Jeff Sherrick, Jana Jensen and Julie Fife; seven great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind her sister Donna Waddell and numerous nieces and nephews and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her companion John Atkinson.

A celebration of Shirley's life is planned for Saturday, April 28, 2018, 1:30 pm at Hazen & Jaeger Funeral Home, 1306 N Monroe St, Spokane, WA.
