Thomas Cahill Giblin, Sr. (age 75) passed away September 25, 2017 in Spokane, WA. He was born June 8, 1942 in Providence, RI. Over the years he lived in several places including California and Colorado, and moved to Spokane following his retirement from the US Postal Service after 30 years as a letter carrier. He was active in the Knights of Columbus for many years, and was a member of the Elks Lodge.
Surviving and cherishing his memory are his wife of 47 years, Denise Giblin of Spokane; three children, Theresa O’Donnell (Joseph Merten) of Chaska, MN, Thomas Giblin, Jr. of Granite Falls, WA, Michael Giblin of Spokane Valley; five grandchildren; and two sisters, Catherine Anderson of Oro Valley, AZ and Helen Washburn of Paradise, CA. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Maureen Giblin (1995).
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 30, 2017 at 10:00am in the Sunset Chapel of Fairmount Memorial Park, 5200 W. Wellesley Ave. in Spokane.
