

Zachary Scott Cantafi, age 25, died in a tragic bicycle accident in Spokane, WA on August 30, 2021. Zachary was born on April 4, 1996, in Hartford, CT. He grew up in Wethersfield, CT with his loving grandmother and sisters.
A 2014 Wethersfield High School graduate, Zachary went on to earn a Bachelor’s of Psychological Sciences Degree from the University of Connecticut in 2020. During his time in high school, he was a member of the WHS soccer team. Zachary had a passion for skateboarding with his friends and loved driving his Camaro to the Wethersfield Cove, his favorite place to meditate. Most recently, he very much enjoyed hiking in the mountains of Spokane, WA.
Zachary is survived by his mother, Vicki Turkington of Andover, CT; father, Jeffrey Johnston; grandmother, Elizabeth Cantafi of Wethersfield, CT; sister, Danielle Kornacki (John) and their children, Hudson and Reagan, of Franklin, MA; sister, Dana Andrews of Wethersfield, CT; sister, Brandi Turkington of Andover, CT; uncle, Daniel Cantafi (Karen) and their children Daniel and Connor; uncle, Donald Cantafi; and extended family and friends. He was predeceased by his baby brother, Joseph; and his grandfather, Dominic Cantafi.
