Richard was born on December 19, 1962 to Arthur Lager and Joyce (Raley) Stubbe in Shell Lake, WI. He graduated from Spooner High School where he loved playing hockey. Richard owned and operated Richard Lager Enterprises in Sarona for many years. He coached Bantam Hockey for many years. He enjoyed hockey, dirt bike racing, golfing, tennis and was an all around sports enthusiast. He also had a wonderful sense of humor.
Richard is survived by; Three brothers, Ron (Brenda), Craig (Alece), and Tim (Karen), two sisters, Connie (Jim), and Judy (Joe), his best pal Freedom, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded by his parents and one brother, George.
