

Funeral Services for Robert LeBoeuf will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, February 17, 2012 at the Dahl Funeral Home in Spooner, WI with Pastor Ben Kidder officiating. Visitation is from 4 – 7 pm on Thursday, February 16, 2012 at the funeral home and from 10 – 11 am prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Northern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Spooner. On line condolences may be offered at www.dahlfh.com.
Robert Harry LeBoeuf, 72 , of Spooner was surrounded by family when he passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2012 at Luther-Midlefort Hospital in Eau Claire, Wisconsin.
Robert was born on September 17, 1939 in Chicago, Illinois to Robert and Mary LeBoeuf.
After graduating from Maine Township High School, Robert enlisted in the U.S. Navy where he proudly served his country as an aviation mechanic.
On May 25, 1963, he married Barbara Conrad of Morton Grove, Illinois and in 1972 he and his family had moved to Spooner. For 30 years, Robert worked as a conductor for the Chicago & North Western railroad.
Robert was a member of the The Elks for more than 45 years and a passionate supporter of Ducks Unlimited for more than 15 years. Robert was also an avid sportsman who spent many days on the open water patiently teaching his son and grandsons the finer points of fishing. He also loved the numerous wooded areas of Northern Wisconsin where he and his trusty Springer Spaniel would retreat to for an annual week of R&R.
Robert is survived by his wife of 48 years, Barbara; his two children Michelle Larson of Spooner and Michael (Jessica)LeBoeuf of Minneapolis, MN; two grandchildren Barry and Hunter; and sister Emily of Dunedin, FL. He was preceded in death by his parents.
