Tommie L. Webb Palmer

Tommie Lou Palmer was born October 25, 1923 in Hodges, AL, graduated Vina, AL high school in 1941. Attended business college in Nashville, TN, was employed by the U. S. Government Chemical Warfare Service in 1942 as clerk typist and secretary until 1947 when she was united in marriage to Everett C. Palmer. She moved to Spooner in 1947, was employed by JCP in 1963 until her retirement in 1987. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church since 1961 and a member of Grandparents Rights of Wisconsin.

Tommie is survived by her children, Craig (Yvette) Palmer of Denver, CO and Jean (Mike) Hutcheson of Spooner, WI; 4 grandchildren, Jamie, Ben, David, and Matthew; 1 great grandchild, Rayna; sister, Cora “Sue” Martin of Huntsville, AL; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Everett in 1983.

Funeral services for Tommie Palmer will be held at 3 pm, on Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at Dahl Funeral Home in Spooner with Pastor Russ Leeper officiating. Visitation will be from 2 – 3 pm on Tuesday prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Spooner Cemetery.
