Andrew Alastair McDonald

MCDONALD, Andrew, age 57, of Spring Hill, Florida, passed away unexpectedly at his home on January 7, 2023. He was born in Birmingham, England on July 27, 1965 to Wilbert and Sarah McDonald. He attended St. Mary’s Primary School, then Hartfield Crescent Secondary School in Acocks Green, Birmingham. At age 15, Andrew moved to America where he continued his education. After graduating high school, Andrew went on to study automotive at Porter & Chester in Connecticut and worked as an automotive mechanic until his passing. Andrew was predeceased by his father, Wilbert McDonald and step-father, Edgar Young. He leaves behind his mother: Sarah Young of Spring Hill, Florida; daughter: Keyona Bradshaw; brothers: Errol McDonald of Spring Hill, Florida; Carlton McCalla (Annmarie) of Middletown, Connecticut; Gerard McDonald (Janet) of Plymouth, Connecticut; Wayne Young of Spring Hill, Florida; sisters: Beverly James and Fay McDonald-O’Neil-Tomkowit (Richard) all of Spring Hill, Florida; two granddaughters: Reianna and Essence of Meriden, Connecticut; many loving uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews and two great-great-nieces. Also dear friends, Ernie and Renee Therrien. Visitation will be from 11:00am-12:00pm, Saturday, January 28, 2023 at Merritt Funeral Home, Spring Hill Chapel where services will begin at 12:00pm.
