Berenice Leslie DiLorenzo

Berenice Leslie DiLorenzo, age 98, of Spring Hill, FL. passed away quietly on the morning of July 21, 2016. Berenice, a native of British Guyana, was born on March 27, 1918, to the late Richard & Dorothy (Gross) James. She came to US to marry her husband of 70 years who she met while he was stationed in South America serving in the US Navy during WWII. They moved to Spring Hill in 1998 from Bucks County, PA. Berenice was a member of The Legion of Mary at the Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church, in Southampton, PA. In her spare time she was a recognized league bowler in Bucks County, PA. She joined a league at Spring Hill Lanes called Philadelphia. She continued playing tennis right up into her 70's. Berenice was preceded in death by her parents; 9 siblings, and her loving husband Italo R. DiLorenzo in June 2015. She is survived by her daughters, Leslie DiLorenzo-Coco and Dorothy DiLorenzo. She will be greatly missed by her grandsons; Francis (Chrisi) Kenney, Brian Kenney, and granddaughter, Melissa (Josh) Nespodzany, as well as by her great grandchildren; Zachary Kenney, Mackenzie Kenney, and Betty Nespodzany. A joint service is being planned for Italo R. and Berenice L. upon their return to Pennsylvania in November at the Washington Crossing National Cemetery located at 830 Highland Rd, Newtown, PA 18940, in Bucks County, Pennsylvania.
