Bev graduated from Lutheran High School and was married to James Edward Wirt, Sr. on November 11, 1955. She dedicated her life to her family as a homemaker and later worked at the Milwaukee County Mental Health facility. Bev was a cherished member of Grace Lutheran Church in Spring Hill, Florida.
Her love for her family was boundless, and she had a deep passion for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Bev was also a lover of books and travel, which brought her much joy throughout her life.
She is survived by her five children: James Wirt, Jr. (Connie), Jenny Wirt Versink (Paul), Julie Wirt Dittmann (Jerry), Jacquelin Wirt Pruess (Mark), and Jon Wirt (Teri). Bev also leaves behind four grandchildren: Michael Versnik (Ann-Marie), Kristina Wirt, Travis Wirt, and Gabriella Wirt, as well as three great-grandchildren.
A private Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.
