

Billye Deane Fetrow, 74, of Dade City Florida, passed away peacefully on January 27, 2025, surrounded by loving family. She was born on March 23, 1950, to William and Virginia Fetrow. Survived By her sibling Roy Rountree & sister-in-law Brenda Rountree, Carl Rountree, And Charles Rountree.
Billye Deane was a devoted wife to Richard V. Fetrow Jr. until his passing in 2011. Together, they built a life full of love, laughter, and many memories.
Billye Deane dedicated many years of her career to Lykes Pasco, working as a data entry specialist, where her keen attention to detail and strong work ethic made her an invaluable part of the team. Her love for the written word extended beyond her profession, as she also worked as a book editor for Keith Laumer, helping bring stories to life with her sharp editorial skills and deep appreciation for storytelling.
Billye was a beloved Mother to Richard V. Fetrow 3rd, daughter in law Melanie Fetrow and Katherine Beverly, son in law Timothy Beverly. She was preceded in death by her beloved child, Cherie Deane Anderson. She took great pride in her family and found immense joy in being a grandparent to Jordan Gonzalez & Tino Gonzalez, Tonya Saucier & Michael Saucier, Austin Hodges, Karolynn Hodges & Marshall Aske, RoyAlan Hodges & Heaven Hodges, Memama’s favorite Justin Beverly, Steven Fetrow, Logan Anderson & Alexus Anderson, Aaron Fetrow, Wayne Fetrow, and a great-grandparent to Blake Aske, Olivia Saucier, Ronald Anderson, Dawson Hodges, Alison Saucier, showering them with love, wisdom, and treasured memories.
Beyond her career and family, Billye Deane had a creative and curious spirit. She found joy in gardening, filling her home with beautiful flowers that reflected the warmth she brought to those around her. She had a passion for embroidery, creating intricate designs that showcased her patience and artistry. An avid reader, she had a special love for science fiction and fantasy, immersing herself in the worlds of great authors and passing on her love of books to those around her.
Billye Deane will be remembered for kindness, humor, generosity, dedication. She leaves behind a legacy of love and strength that will continue to inspire all who knew her.
Billye Deane will be deeply missed but forever remembered in our hearts.
A graveside service for Billye will be held Thursday, February 6, 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Florida Hills Memorial Gardens, 14360 Spring Hill Dr, Spring Hill, FL 34609.
