Daniel Edwin Bohlen

Daniel Edwin Bohlen, beloved son of Edwin and Beverly Bohlen, was born July 5th and shared that birthday with his maternal grandmother, Edna Hodgson Reiter. He is survived by his wife, Timea Salamon Bohlen; his children Emily, Courtney, Erika and Jaymes; his brother Steven Floyd Bohlen (wife Lea Ann McCollum Bohlen) and their children: Jessica Lea Bohlen Meeks (husband Jason Meeks) and Matthew Bohlen; his parents-in-law Balint and Agi Salamon and brother and sister-in-law Balint and Izabella Salamon, who all live in Hungary. Danny and his family lived in Hudson, Florida. He was born in Waverly, Iowa and graduated high school at East High School in Anchorage, Alaska. He was an adventurer! He traveled to Europe and throughout the United States. He worked for a big industrial contractor supporting the military out of a base in Hungary, where he met his wife Timea. He and Timea then worked various projects throughout the United States. He loved his family and his country. He loved flying, the Tampa Bay Lightning hockey team, NASCAR, and definitely was a grill master! His life was honored at the annual Bohlen Family Reunion in Iowa and a Celebration of Life service for Danny Bohlen will be held at SpringLife Church at 9344 Spring Hill Dr, Spring Hill, FL 34608 on Saturday, July 30th at 10am, followed by a small ceremony to place his ashes to rest at Florida Hills Memorial Gardens in Spring Hill.
