

Born September 22, 1956, in Gouverneur, New York, David was the son of Nelson and Ann (Phillips) Bush. He attended Clifton-Fine Central School before earning his GED, and dedicated over twenty-five years to Moody’s Tree Farm, supervising the ground crew in tasks such as seedling planting, shearing, harvesting, and helping with Christmas tree sales.
David loved the outdoors, enjoyed hunting, fishing, spending time with family and friends, playing poker, or simply relaxing at home. He was also active in organizations like the Black Lake Fish & Game Association, Greenwood Hunting Club, Harrisville Fire Department, Lions Club, and the Boy Scouts. In addition to these activities, he took pleasure in playing pool, shuffleboard, and bowling, both for fun and in competition.
He is survived by his wife, Jacqueline Tennant of Hudson, FL; sons Thomas Bush (Harrisville, NY), Steven (Donna) Pinson (Lakeland, FL), David Dowling (FL), Nicholas Bush (NY); daughter Elizabeth (William) Miller (Gouverneur, NY); sisters Peggy (Francis) Hart (Harrisville, NY), Penny Didas (Mike Cary) (Potsdam, NY) Shelly Rauth (NY); brothers William Bush (Oswegatchie, NY) and Brian Bush (Oswegatchie, NY); many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
David was preceded in death by his parents, Nelson & Ann Bush.
Honoring his wishes, there will be no funeral or memorial service.
