She was born in Garfield, N.J. on December 21, 1936. She worked in a variety of jobs and spent 20 years in home healthcare.
Dee was an amazing woman, who served our Lord Jesus Christ with her whole heart and soul. She never met a stranger. She would give whatever she had to help others, always preferring to help everyone else above her own needs.
Dee loved her family and was the matriarch and the glue that held them all together. She was a prayer warrior and prayed relentlessly for her family, friends, and whomever else she knew needed prayers. She encouraged and supported others continuously and truly lived a joyful, happy life. Dee had a passion for gardening and always used to say she would be a gardener in heaven someday.
Dee celebrated every second of life. She was humous, funny, happy, feisty, kind, loving, compassion, supportive, strong headed, and full of faith. You never had to guess where she stood on issues because she made it known to everyone.
Dee’s strongest desire and conviction was that every person she ever met, would be introduced to, and would get to know her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She discipled many in the word of God and hosted countless Bible studies. We can rest assured that Dee is in heaven now, dancing and praising our God on streets of gold, totally free from the burdens and trials of this life.
Dee is survived by her three children, Cynthia Lee Mills and her husband Kenneth Mills of Spring Hill, Fl; Anne Elizabeth Klaus and her husband Steve Klaus of Wantage, N.J.; and Paul Henry Grau Jr. and his wife Jennifer Grau of Cabot, AR. Dee is also survived by nine grandchildren, Kenny and Kimberly Mills, Darren and ToniAnn Klaus, Kyle Klaus, Jason Klaus, Faith Grau, Gabrielle Grau, Torre Grau, Katherine Grau, and Paul Grau, III. Dee also had three great grandchildren. She is also survived by one sister, Carol Forino and her husband Peter Forino of Clifton, N.J., and many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, June 12th at 4:00 PM at The Church at Brooksville, 15444 Wiscon Road, Brooksville, FL 34601.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you to donate to the Sturgill Hospice House of Spring Hill, FL and/or the Hernando Pasco Hospice.
