Dorotha Irene Knodle

She was born in Handy Township in Livingston County, Michigan on March 14, 1928. Dorotha Canfield graduated from Fowlerville High School. She married Gerald W. Brown on November 5, 1947. Gerald passed away on January 26, 2001. Dorotha remarried to Donald A. Knodle on January 1, 2005. Donald passed away on March 25, 2023.

Dorotha was a deeply faithful woman and loved the Lord with all her heart. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading.

She is preceded in passing by her first husband, Gerald W. Brown; her second husband, Donald A. Knodle; and by her brother, Harold Canfield.

Dorotha is survived by her five children, Stephen Brown (of the Philippines), Catherine (Robert) Ladouceur, Carol (Michael) Huff, David (Linda) Brown, and Daniel (Dawn) Brown; her 28 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren; and her sister, Margary Perkins.

A Memorial Gathering will be held at 11:00am, Saturday, March 14, 2026 at Merritt Funeral Home - Spring Hill (4095 Mariner Boulevard, Spring Hill, FL, 34609), where a Memorial Services begins at 12:00pm.
