April 22, 1941 – March 28, 2026
Eileen Jaeger, 84, of Spring Hill, Florida, passed away peacefully on March 28, 2026. A proud lifelong resident of Trenton, New Jersey, before retiring to the South, she leaves behind a legacy defined by hard work, devotion to family, and a spirited sense of competition.
Born on April 22, 1941, in Trenton, Eileen was the beloved daughter of the late Jessie and Thomas DiCicco. She graduated from Steinert High School, Class of 1957, and went on to earn her cosmetology license. She later became a valued member of the Hamilton Township School System, where she served for many years as a secretary in Special Services. Affectionately known as the “Queen of Files,” she took great pride in her work until her retirement.
Seeking warmer weather, Eileen relocated to Spring Hill, Florida, where she embraced her retirement years. She shared a loving and devoted partnership with Ray McGuire, who was a constant source of companionship and support.
Eileen had a lifelong passion for bowling. From leagues in New Jersey to senior tournaments in Florida, she was a formidable presence on the lanes. Known for her remarkable ability to convert even the toughest spares, she earned the nickname “Eileen the Pick-Up Machine.”
Above all, Eileen treasured her family. She loved to travel, creating lasting memories on family trips to the Outer Banks, cruises to the islands, and trips to Alaska and Ireland. At home, she was the heart of every gathering, often hosting lively and competitive games of Canasta. Nothing brought her more joy than having loved ones around the table, sharing meals, stories, and laughter.
Eileen found deep meaning in life’s small moments. A sentimental soul, she lovingly saved cards, crafts, and keepsakes from family and friends—each one a reflection of the love she held so dearly. Her joy was especially evident during holidays and special occasions, where her warmth and smile brought people together.
She was predeceased by her parents; her brothers, Thomas and Paul DiCicco; and her nephew, Danny DiCicco.
She is lovingly remembered by her son, Frederick Edward Jaeger III and his wife, Sue; her son, Michael Spair; her daughter, Kimberly Jaeger Fithen and her husband, Keith; and her cherished grandchildren, Brianna Theresa Jaeger, Frederick Edward Jaeger IV (Ricky), Talia Rese Jaeger, and Kelsey Rose Fithen. She is also survived by her sister, Rita Hollinger; her sisters-in-law, Theresa DiCicco and Cheryl DiCicco; her nephew, Paul DiCicco; and a wide circle of extended family and dear friends.
Above all, Eileen was a woman of deep faith. She lived her life guided by her beliefs, finding strength and comfort in her church communities. She now rests in the loving embrace of the Lord, at peace and home at last.
