Gennaro Ragozzino, 88, of Spring Hill, Florida, passed away August 2, 2024. He was born in Brooklyn, New York on September 28, 1935. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Anita Ragozzino, as well as his current wife, Angie Ragozzino.
He had a passion for family, friends and music. Playing in a band and singing was such an integral part of his life. He was an active member of his church, volunteering as an usher at Saint Frances Cabrini Parish.
He was survived by his children, Jerry Ragozzino (Karen), Emil Wersan (Eileen), Frank Wersan (Teresa), Maryrose Deering (David), and Robert Wersan. His grandchildren, Kenny Wersan (Lisa), Justin Ragozzino, Johnny Wersan, Tiffani Figueroa (Anthony), Alyssa Dones (Wil), and Natalie Wersan and 8 great
grandchildren.
A visitation for Gennaro will be held Sunday, August 11, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at Turner Funeral Homes, Crematory and Cemetery, 14360 Spring Hill Drive, Spring Hill, FL 34609. A funeral mass will occur Monday, August 12, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at St. Frances Xavier Cabrini Parish, 5030 Mariner Blvd, Spring Hill, FL 34609.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations in Jerry's name be
made to St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital.
