Gloria May Dembeck

Gloria May Dembeck, 92 passed peacefully at home surrounded by her loved ones on December 5, 2016. Gloria was born in Waterville, Maine on May 20, 1924. Gloria graduated from John Bapst High School in 1941. Gloria married the love of her life Richard Dembeck on July 26, 1952; they were happily wed for 64 years. Gloria’s love was spending time with her family. She was very active and enjoyed traveling, camping and playing cards. She enjoyed sledding, ice skating, toboggin and trips to the Poconos. Gloria is survived by her husband, Richard and was blessed with two children Kathy and Mary. Her 5 grandchildren; Shellye inspired by her fearlessness and sense of adventure, Tara and husband, Eddie who without Mimi wouldn’t have their family, Joshua remembering reading the newspaper over breakfast on the patio, Heath who laughed at her sense of humor and Beth who could always depend on peppermints in Mimi’s purse. Her eight great-grandchildren, Sara will continue to honor Mimi’s love of weekend road trips and volleyball; Brent loved holidays at the matriarch of the family’s home. Gloria’s spirit will continue with Brian, Katie, Joey, Ava, McKenzie and Hayley. Son in laws Jim and Erik; niece Debbie and nephew Glenn. She also leaves behind many caring relatives that brought her great joy. Gloria is proceeded by her son Gary, grand-son Jaison and sister Dorothy and brother Richard.
