

Henry F. “Hank” Beu, age 91, of Spring Hill, Florida, died on Thursday, April 9, 2015, in Spring Hill. Henry, a native of Dundee, Illinois, was born on October 27, 1923, to the late Henry C. & Martha (Frenk) Beu. He and his wife of 52 years, Dorothy Krea Beu, moved to Spring Hill, FL. in September of 1989. Dorothy Died on May 17, 2001. Henry is preceded in death by all members of his immediate family to include his parents, three brothers and three sisters. Henry served in the US Army as part of the American European and Pacific theaters during World War II. Part of his service time included a period in the US Army Specialized Program at the Mississippi Engineering College in Starkville, MS. After receiving his discharge in March 1946, Henry worked for W.T. Grant and Wieboldts, a retail store chain in the Chicago area. While in Florida, Henry was a longtime member of the Forest Oaks Lutheran Church, Missouri Synod, in Spring Hill, and at times he was active as an usher and a member of the Finance Committee. A Memorial Service will be led by Pastor Milton A. Lehr, Retired, to celebrate Henry’s life at the Forest Oaks Lutheran Church, MS, 8555 Forest Oaks Blvd. Spring Hill, FL. and a light luncheon will follow the service at the church’s fellowship hall. At Henry’s request, his cremation and burial are entrusted to the Turner Funeral Homes Spring Hill Drive Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Forest Oak Lutheran Church, MS. Or to the Hernando Pasco Hospice Foundation.
