Herman Oliver Dooley, 82, of Spring Hill, FL. Herman passed away on April 26th, 2024 in Spring Hill. He was born October 16th, 1941 in Columbia, SC. Herman went on to marry Judith in Tampa, FL on October 16th, 1984.
Herman was an Army Veteran and retired after 19 years from ABF Freight System as a Regional Vice President. He enjoyed tennis, working out at the YMCA and running. Herman ran three marathons after his retirement, the last one being at the age of 69. He liked an occasional martini and never met a Sudoku he could not conquer.
Herman is predeceased by mother Estelle Maher, stepfather Calvin Maher brothers Ronald W. Dooley, Charles F. Dooley, and daughter Tara D. Dooley.
Per his wishes, there will be no services. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Save the Manatee Club.
