Irvin William Redmon Jr.

Irvin William Redmon, Jr., age 80 of Spring Hill, FL passed away on Wednesday, June 25, 2014 at the Bayfront Healthcare Brooksville, Brooksville, FL. He was the husband of Rubie Redmon for 58 years. Born in Washington, DC he was a son of the late Irvin William and Elmyra Redmond, Sr. Prior to his retirement he worked 42 years for American Airlines. He and Rubie moved to Spring Hill in January 1990 from Nokesville, Va. He was a member of the Spring Hill Seventh Day Adventist Church where he served many years as a Deacon. He thoroughly loved his family and especially his grandchildren and great granddaughters. He will be deeply missed by his wife, Rubie and daughters: Brenda wife of Michael Garriott of Concord, NC; Teri wife of Sam Shafer of Aplachin, NY and Myra wife of Jim Bower of Nokesville, VA and sons: John T. Redmond and his wife Beth of Luray, VA; Irvin W. “Bill” Redmon, III and his wife Karen of Warrenton, VA and Michael Redmon and his wife Dawn of Louisiana. He is the proud Grandfather of 25 and 3 beautiful great granddaughters. A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, June 29, 2014 at 3:00 PM at the Spring Hill Seventh Day Adventist Church, 2300 Osowaw Blvd., Spring Hill, FL 34607.
