Judith A. McCloskey

Judy was born the youngest of four siblings on October 4th, 1934 in Santa Rosa California, to Ralph and Dora Reid.

She was married to Paul James McCloskey for 32 years before his passing. They raised a son, Michael R McCloskey; and two daughters, Donna Jo McCloskey and Diane J Poole.

Judy was a wise mother and homemaker, with a kind and compassionate spirit. She worked many years at Meloy Laboratories in Virginia where she became a skilled supervisor. After that, she spent her remaining years happily retired in Florida, including several years where she spent time with her companion Ralph Swenson.

Throughout the years, Judy was an active member of many clubs including, bridge, jeep and a computer club. She was an avid gardener and was passionate about her yard in Florida. She en-joyed running, golfing, crafting, and entertaining.

Judy was preceded in death by her sisters Io, Jan, and Dawn. Judy is survived by her five chil-dren, and grandchildren Julia Poole, Michael McCloskey Jr, Theodore McCloskey, Audrey Mc-Closkey, Rhonda Hiri, and Carmine Cologrande, as well as 10 great grandchildren.

There are no funeral services. Donations may be sent to the American Cancer Society.

Judy was loved by all and she will be greatly missed.
