Katherine Loreto

Born in Staten Island, New York to John W. Timothy Jr. and Ellen (Delaney) Timothy on March 26, 1968. Katherine attended Blessed Sacrament School and St. Peters High School in Staten Island before moving to Spring Hill, Florida in 1983, where she then graduated from Springstead High School in 1986. Katherine always had a strong passion for caring for others, which led her to pursuing her career as a nurse. She attended Nursing School at Marchman Vocational School in Florida and graduated as an LPN. She worked at Oak Hill Hospital in Brooksville and was also a Home Health Care Nurse for many years. Katherine had the biggest heart and truly touched the lives of everyone she met. She always gave the best advice and knew the right thing to say to make you smile. Crafting and gardening were some of her favorite hobbies, as well as spending time with family. Above all, Katherine devoted her life to being a strong and loving mother, wife, daughter, sister, aunt, grandmother and friend. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Katherine is survived by her mother, Ellen Timothy, her children, Frank Loreto, (Kailee) Christopher Loreto (Caralynn) and Jenna Loreto (Shamone), her siblings, Mary Beth DeRosa (Joseph), John Timothy (Michele) and Brian Timothy (Ryan), many nieces and nephews, her grandchildren, Ja’Khari Hammond and Elianna Loreto, her mother-in-law, Louisa Loreto and sister-in-law, Victoria DeVito. She was predeceased by her husband, Frank Loreto Jr, her father, John W. Timothy Jr., her father-in-law, Frank Loreto Sr., and her brother, Denis Timothy.

The family will be holding a private ceremony. Memorial donations / in lieu of flowers may be made to the Hospice House
