He was born in Jacksonville, Florida on September 8, 1936 and married Nina Vella on May 5, 1957. Lawrence worked doing Heating and Air Conditioning on government buildings for the Department of Labor and loved following sport teams from Florida and Massachusetts.
He was predeceased by daughter, Laura and husband Frank DiCesare.
Survivors include his wife, Nina (Vella) Ridgeway; children, Larry (Janis) Ridgeway, Lisa (Richard) Graves; grandchildren, Kyle (Lauren) Ridgeway, Erin Ridgeway, Amy Ridgeway, Devin Ridgeway, Sean DiCesare and fiancé Nicole O'Neill, Cory DiCesare, Ryan (Mariah) DiCesare, Kaitlyn Graves and Nicholas Graves; and great grandchildren, Anthony, Emma and Lily.
Visitation will be from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM, Friday August 25, 2023 at Turner Funeral Home, where services will begin at 11:30 AM. Burial will follow at the Florida National Cemetery with military honors.
