

Mark was born in Chelsea, MA on November 15, 1947 to Daniel Walker and Marguerite Jeffrey. Mark grew up in the Boston, MA area, until moving to Merrimac, MA in his teens, where he met his wife, Roberta Tammik in high school. He proudly served his country in the United States Army and was a Vietnam Veteran. He became a master electrician, and he held many certificates in electrical, HVAC, and welding. Mark loved traveling and was able to visit many different places. After retirement, Mark moved from MA to FL. Even after the move, he remained a loyal fan of the New England Patriots. Mark liked to keep himself in shape and once competed in the Mt. Washington Road race. Mark’s favorite sport was golf. He loved spending time on the green with his friends and kids, and he went on to participate in many tournaments. Above all, Mark was a hardworking man who taught his kids the value of a great work ethic.
Mark is predeceased by his parents, Daniel Walker and Marguerite Jeffrey, as well as two brothers, Dan and Jeff Walker. He is survived by his sons, Mark Walker and Ian Walker; his brother, Greg Walker; his granddaughters, Madison Hill and Brianne Walker; his grandson, Daniel Walker; and five great-grandchildren.
A Visitation for family and friends will be held from 9:30-11:30am on Friday, May 23, 2025 at Merritt Funeral Home Spring Hill (4095 Mariner Boulevard, Spring Hill, FL 34609), where Funeral Services begin at 11:30am. A Committal Service with military honors will follow at 1:30pm at Florida National Cemetery (6502 SW 102nd Avenue, Bushnell, FL 33513).
