Rachel E. Egli, 28, of Brooksville, Florida passed away after a long battle with cancer on July 28, 2019. During her all too short life, Rachel lived on three continents, being born and raised in Australia, meeting her husband Curt while working in Europe, and raising her two boys in the USA. Rachel was known for her magnetic smile, friendly nature, and her ability to make everyone around her fall in love with her. She was selflessly devoted to others and was an active member at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, where she volunteered with youth programs and the food pantry. Rachel also volunteered her time with local Cub Scout groups, first as an assistant, and then as the den leader. Helping others was always the highlight of her day and life, and will continue to be her legacy as she left people better simply for having known her. Most of all, she was a loving wife, mother, sister, and friend, who will be dearly missed by her friends and family.
She was born in Blacktown, New South Wales, Australia to Cindy McLeay, and is survived by her loving husband Curtis N. Egli, sons Daniel (9) and Jesse (6); sister Amanda Scard and family; and brothers John and Phillip McLeay and their families.
Visitation will be 1-2PM Saturday, August 3rd followed by services at 2PM at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Masaryktown, Florida.
