Richard Anton Beyerl

Retired Marine GySgt Richard Anton Beyerl, (known as Dick to his friends) was born on January 30, 1931, in Saugerties, NY to parents Anton Beyerl (of Graz, Austria) and Florence Morris Beyerl (of Brooklyn, NY). He resided in Spring Hill, FL, where he passed peacefully in his sleep on March 5, 2023, at the age of 92.

He is survived by his wife of nearly 57 years, Linda, of Spring Hill, two sons, Joe with his wife Terry and Barry with his wife Kim, all of Spring Hill. Six grandchildren, Chris and Josh Beyerl both of Tulsa, OK, Keisha Krick of Amarillo, TX, Brandon Beyerl of Canton, GA, Camryn Hay of Charlotte, NC, and Carson Beyerl of Spring Hill. Three great-grandchildren, Madison and Zack Beyerl of Grove, OK and Kate Beyerl of Tulsa, OK.

A memorial service will be held at Noon on March 31st, at the Merritt Funeral Home located at 4095 Mariner Blvd, Spring Hill. Anyone wishing to recount some of their fondest memories of Dick are encouraged to do so. That service will be followed by an internment ceremony with military honors at the Florida National Cemetery, located at 6502 SW 102nd Ave, Bushnell, FL.

The family is having a Celebration of Life upon returning from Bushnell at the family home at 13281 Don Loop, Spring Hill, where snacks and refreshments will be served. All are invited to attend.
