Richard Earl Petee

Richard was born on February 24th, 1942 in Detroit, Michigan to Earl and Mildred Petee. Richard married Ruth Roberts in Las Vegas, Nevada on November 5th, 2004.

Richard courageously served our country in the United States Army. He was an avid golfer, proudly achieving multiple hole-in-ones during his lifetime. Richard was an active member of a committee for the Make-a-Wish Foundation, and he humbly gave back to his community by volunteering for hospices. Richard was also a culinary expert and he greatly enjoyed cooking. His family knew him to be a loving and kind husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, and he will be missed dearly.

Richard is preceded in death by his son, Robert Petee, and his parents, Earl Petee and Mildred Petee.

He is survived by his dedicated wife, Ruth Petee; his daughters, Kristen Brinkerhoff (Ronnie), Lisa Benson (Bill), and Karen Bleichner (Steve); and his daughter-in-law, Carrie; as well as his grandchildren, Kristen Few (Steve), Hannah, Jacquelyn, Emily, Sophia, Leelu and Thomas, and his great-granddaughter, Willamae.

Richard’s final resting place is at Brooksville Cemetery, located at 1275 Olmes Road, Brooksville, FL 34601.
